Research
Gezelle completed her PhD within the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne in 2023. Using neuroimaging and cognitive-behavioural testing, her PhD investigated the neural correlates of error awareness and the role of error awareness in adaptive behaviour across healthy and drug-using cohorts. Her research has been presented at the Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol and other Drugs (Darwin, 2022), Lisbon Addictions (2019), the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society conference (Launceston, 2019), and the Society for Ambulatory Assessment conference (Melbourne, 2020). She has been awarded the Velma Stanley Award (2019) and an Australian Research Training Program scholarship. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Sydney.
